Christmas Gift Suggestions for Mom and Dad in 2010

J.
What gift suggestions do I have for Christmas? Well that would really depend on who you are going to bless with your gifts. Let's start with parents first. For a dad, men's polo shirts, an electric shaver, a Starbucks coffee mug, a barong or even a neck tie would do. For a mom, something to make her feel better or look better would be great like some perfume, beauty products or a gift certificate for a session in a spa salon. With these suggestions, I now feel responsible to pick from the list my gift for my mama and papa this Christmas.

Taking Advantage of Black Friday or Cyber Monday

Jeff
We are considering expanding our online business and need additional gadgets like at least another netbook or laptop. How great it would be if we also had a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale here in the Philippines where stores really mark down prices. We could really take advantage of the decrease in price of the gadgets for our business expansion.

Brent the Stunt Guy in Manila | 2008

Jeff
Here is a video of Brent the Stunt Guy doing some of his stunts to attract attention to students of Pitogo HS and get a chance to share the gospel with them. He is skilled in strength balancing, juggling, unicycling and other acrobatic skills without aid of an Energy diet pill. This was taken June of 2008 during their first visit to the Manila, Philippines. Two years after, Brent and Amanda (www.brentthestuntguy.com)are back in the Philippines for their ministry internship and they are here helping different ministries including our Baptist church in Makati.

Breaking Point Foundation Philippines to Partner With Brent the Stunt Guy

Jeff
Our organization, Breaking Point Foundation Philippines, will be proposing to make its violence and substance abuse prevention program available to the public high schools in Makati. As our organization endeavors to educate students holistically and prevent them from trying drugs, alcohol or cigars, we are also hoping to challenge and move students who are already into these substances to stop using them. We are also privileged to be partnering now with Brent the Stunt Guy as he will be sharing his skills to motivate students in terms of self discipline and making good choices.

Real Warriors Freestyle Martial Arts To Join Its First Tournament

Jeff
Our freestyle martial arts organization, Real Warriors Freestyle Martial Arts, headed by Pastor Orlando Villaseñor (third degree blackbelt) and myself, will be sending participants to a tournament of Kyokushin Karate on the 27th of November in San Juan for the first time. There will be two participants from Makati and three from Santolan, Pasig of the SBC ministries.

Kyokushin kaikan (極真会館?) is a style of stand-up, full contact karate, founded in 1964 by Korean-Japanese karate master, Masutatsu Oyama. Since our organization is fairly new and we are sending participants who are mostly white belts or beginners and a few green belts, we are really pushing them hard in their training. We did not use fat burners for men to help our students reduce weight but relied on training (karate, kick boxing, aikido, judo) and exercise.

Initially, for this first tournament, we hope for our students to gain exposure in tournaments and that they will be challenged as see how the trainings we are holding fair with the other martial arts organizations.

Adsense Account Disabled

Jeff
It has been almost a month since something really big happened with my blogging – I got my Adsense account disabled by Google. The reason they gave is click-fraud and I have tried to think of reasons how that could have happened and explained it to Google but I have not received any reply.

But I am moving on. I am now thinking of new personal online campaigns that are not Adsense dependent. Blogging business is still growing and I am treating this as a phase and I just need to be reminded that nothing is secure and permanent especially when it comes to online campaigns.

The growth of my blogs is just like a person going through some thyroid problems and I just need to consult a Thyroid doctor austin or something. I am not letting this thing get in the way of our online campaigns.

Arnis Training With a Grand Master

Jeff
This afternoon, wearing our complete training uniforms and not Fedora Hats, I and many other individuals, were able to attend a martial arts training and seminar where a grandmaster of Arnis taught some basic but powerful techniques on the weapon. I enjoyed his openness to creating variations of his art and mixing them with other arts like karate, aikido, jiu jitsu and many others. I am excited to teach and learn to apply the techniques we learned to our youth who attend the free martial arts training at our church’s youth center.
