Google Map Maker Recognition

Jeff
Last night, when I arrived home, I was welcomed by a package from Google and it was the Google Map Maker Recognition package they sent. I was humbled and yet thrilled to have received such a recognition. I never thought that something as simple as naming important places and buildings in Google Maps would receive any recognition. Map making is actually very simple, you just need to have a Google Map Maker account. When your account is set up, you can start mapping by naming or identifying important places like hospitals, government buildings, schools, etc. You won't need to go out, walk or drive and wear breeches or bring anything special. Jus make sure that you are 100 percent sure of the location and name of what you are mapping.

In the Google Map Maker Recognition package were three items - a certificate of recognition, a sticker and a shirt from Google. This is a great addition to my online accomplishments and hope that I continue doing this to help map provinces in the Philippines.

Hoping to Win the Second Game at the Summer Basketball Challenge 2011

Jeff
Monday night is our church's second game in the Summer Basketball Challenge organized by the leaders of ministries who were participants in the RPG Metanoia Summer Youth Camp. I wasn't able to play in our first game because I was in Bohol with my family.

We had basketball jerseys made for our selected youth and young professionals who made it through our try outs but we haven't had enough playing time as a team to say that we have really established cohesion. But I am confident that we have a chance because we have players who are mentally fit for the tournament and physically ready that they seem to have had taken fenphedrine. We do not have a complete line up on Monday that's why it is vital to play together as a team to win.

Church Events at SBC Makati

Jeff
April and May are probably the busiest two months of the year in our church. We have had major events - the annual summer youth camp which usually happens every April, the anniversary of our church in Makati every May and this year was different because for the first time, we held a Daily Vacation Bible School at our church, and our community outreach, parenting seminars, which are held at our partner high school, Gen. Pio Del Pilar National High School.

I just would like to share my Facebook albums of the said events (click the links above) and ask that you continue to pray for our church as we are in our ninth year. Please pray that God would continue to establish our church, more people would be reached and become followers of Christ, and that they would grow and be committed to helping our church fulfill the great commission of Jesus. Your prayers are like handicap pool lifts for us as God's strength is made perfect in our weaknesses.

Last Night in Dumaluan Beach Resort

Jeff
It’s our last night here at the Dumaluan Beach Resort in Panglao, Bohol and I am just thankful for the opportunity to be able to relax after a busy anniversary week at church. We packed light and just checked in one luggage for our flight here. I was looking forward to some dolphin watching, island hopping and snorkeling tomorrow but boatmen would not take the risk due to the weather so I guess I’ll just be spending time in the beach. We’ve already done our shopping for souvenir items, womens boots, keychains and other stuff. I’m ready to get back and am looking forward to the Summer Basketball Challenge.

An Overnight Stay in Samal Island

Jeff
This is my fifth day of vacation in Davao and am excited to go to Samal Island and spend the night there with family and other relatives. The last time I went here to Davao I experienced the beach at the Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort with my parents. This time I am with my own family and my parents, aunt and sister. The overnight stay, I hope, would be enough as a mother’s day gift for the four mothers who are with us otherwise, the alternative is to search gifts online for mother's day.

Trying to Relanx and Enjoy

Jeff
It’s my vacation time here in Mindanao and driving from Davao to Surigao City, preparing my son’s birthday celebration and then driving back to Davao has been exciting but has not really been relaxing. Plus, I would need to concentrate on working on colon cleanser reviews during my 6-day vacation with the family. When I’m done, I will be able to enjoy this getaway more.
