My iBlog5: The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit Experience

My participation in iBlog5: The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit, organized by the UP College of Law was the first ever in any blogging summit. Months before, I was informed by one of my blogging friends, Sonnie who is known online as Sonnie Side Up or Sonnie's Porch, about this blogging summit which I signed up for and ended up as one of the first 50 online registrants of iBlog5 (registrant number 42).

My wife and I arrived at iBlog5: The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit early and were able to secure good seats for us and for other friends. We were seated with one of our blogger friends, Rochelle and our mentor, Neil and together listened to the different speakers who spoke about different topics that I personally found very helpful for a blogger like me.

I liked all the iBlog5 topics but the ones that I would consider my favorites were about Video Blogging (Azrael Coladilla and Kring Elenzano), Mobile Blogging (Edwin “Ka Edong” Soriano) and Blogging to the Next Level (Fitz Villafuerte and Anton Diaz). All the topics were great and helpful, thanks to the organizers of the event.

I am looking forward to this kind of event again next year and I am really very thankful to all the organizers for their vision and concern for the blogging community of the Philippines. Let me just say that what you have done is really noble and worth blogging about. Kudos to the UP College of Law and the others who helped organized iBlog5: The 5th Philippine Blogging Summit.

I am truly not as well familiar with this topic but I do prefer to go to blogs for layout suggestions and interesting subjects. You truly expanded upon a subject that I usually don't care much about and made it extremely intriguing. This is a good weblog that I will take be aware of. I by now bookmarked it for long term reference. Cheers
