During the late 80s, when I was still in my high school years, some of the movies that I really liked were that of Andrew McCarthy who involuntarily became a member of the 80s Hollywood teen group the Brat Pack. The Brat Pack films back then were St. Elmo’s Fire and Pretty In Pink. What made these films memorable were the soundtrack that came with the movies – songs that were considered part of the new wave era back then.
